Prayer doesn't have to be difficult or follow a strict structure; it's simply like having a conversation with a good Father. He loves you unconditionally and is always eager to hear from you, no matter what you have to say. So, be honest, be vulnerable, and know that He is listening with love and compassion, ready to meet you where you are.

What is this word? Does it ask us to move without thinking? Respond without fear?
No.
It asks us to trust in the One who encourages us.
Without You, Jesus, abiding in me I can not have courage. I can’t see the greater plan You have for Your brothers and sisters. I can’t see the benefit my actions, voice has or will have on the Kingdom.
But You do. You know regardless of my trepidations, anxiousness and even fear for my natural person, in You rests my trust, and in You I am encouraged. I don’t live in a spirit of fear. I don’t act out of a spirit of fear, but I encourage others because You encourage me. Above all I trust in Your goodness because I know the Kingdom rests in You, and You abide in me. Amen

Lord, Your Word declares that Your goodness & mercy shall follow me all the days of my life. Your goodness. Not my thoughts, actions, inactions, stumbles, hurts, pain.
But Your goodness. Following me. Choosing me. You. The God of the universe. The Spirit of Truth. Love itself. Chasing after me. Fragile. Helpless. Broken. Unworthy. Disobedient. Ungrateful. Deceitful. Me. Human.
But You abide in me and therefore I abide in You. You are my hope. My vision into the Kingdom. All that I am, do, desire is focused on the TRUE HOPE that is only found in You, Jesus, my Savior. Because of Your obedience, I have the promise of eternal life—with You and the Father. Thank You Jesus! Amen.

You never intended for me to be strong. You never intended for me to lean onto my own knowledge of this world. You came so that I’d know my weakness, fragility, foolishness.
And then embrace me, walking with me in my humility. You. Your strength, wisdom, mystery.
Show me Lord how to draw nearer to You. The Word tells me when I am weak, You are strong. No resources are lacking for You. Nothing in Your will fails. So, show me, teach me, Holy Spirit, how to dine with You. How to listen for Your voice. See as Your heart sees and know that all things will work out for my good and Your glory, according to Your will and plans for my life. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
